What is Salty & Lit?

Hi everyone! It’s your girl Julie, and we’re back with another segment of “Salty & Lit!” In today’s post, I’m going to introduce myself to folks who don’t know me and are new to the “Salty & Lit” fam.

For folks that are new here, hi! I’m Julie, the creator of “Salty & Lit,” a faith based blog that teaches young girls and women what it means to be “Salty & Lit” according to Matthew 5:13-16.

That’s a picture of me graduating college! “Salty & Lit” was born while I was in college, documenting my experience as a first-year and became so much more when God took the lead.

It navigated relationships, faith, lessons, and so much more, and it continues to do that today! Catch posts on faith, love, education, and all things Jesus!

As a Smithie (that’s where I went for undergrad, woot, woot!), I studied Education and minored in Psychology, so I’m ten toes down for the field of education and am actually an educator for my full time job! I teach the little ones! I especially love teaching the Word of God, making it digestible and fun for lots of people to learn, so in these posts, find me adding my flavor (God-allowed of course) to help you grasp these topics at hand!
