Julie Ann is not just a blogger, writer, speaker, or educator. She is a self-proclaimed woman of God who deeply cherishes her relationship with Him. Though she was raised in the church, Julie Ann had to encounter God in a different way to truly understand just how much He loves her. Through that journey, He birthed “Salty & Lit” as a reminder to recognize the flavor and light Julie Ann brings to every room and table she enters.

As an educator, Julie Ann has a heart for teaching, serving, and sharing her wealth of knowledge with others. Her passion for service is also shown in her serving the children’s department at her church. Through both of these roles, she finds joy in encouraging others, pouring into the next generation, and helping people discover their God-given purpose.

With “Salty & Lit,” Julie Ann hopes to create a space where others can learn, grow, and discover how they, too, can embrace what it means to be salty and lit, and how to live it out in their own context.

What started as a hobby has grown into something far greater than Julie Ann ever expected. Julie is grateful for everyone who’s been a part of the journey.
