Dear Heavenly Father God, thank You for freeing us. Help us to walk in freedom the way You want us to. Help us to let go of the shackles of slavery. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

To be free from the shackles of slavery
To be free from shame
To be free
Do you know?
How can you be free…
When it comes to freedom, God wants us free. He literally sent His Son to die for us to free us from slavery to sin. In fact, we’re no longer slaves to sin, but rather we’re children of God (Romans 6; also shout out to you if you know the song), but in all seriousness, when we’re slaves to sin, we’re no fun. We live in shame, in blindness, or in regret when we finally come into the light.
Yet God in His mercy/love has compassion on us to reconcile us back to Him and be sons and daughters with Him.
So my encouragement to you is to come into the light. Be free from the shackles of slavery and come to Christ. Let’s pray.
