Freedom.

Hey everyone! It’s your girl Julie, back with another segment of “Salty & Lit.” In today’s post, we’re going to be talking about “Whom the Son Sets Free.” If you know the rest, you can say it with me, but before we do that, let’s pray.

Dear Father, You are good. Thank You for freeing us from the shackles of slavery. Help us to live lives that show the freedom You’ve given us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

“So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.” That’s what it says in John 8:36, and the Bible tells us the truth. If it says something, it’s fact, so if the Bible says, “So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.” You are not bound to a lifestyle of sin. You’re not bound to slavery. You see, there is freedom in Christ. The thing you are struggling with? You are free from that. Your mind is playing you to make you think you’re not free, but God says you are free, so you’re free. You can walk away from that thing that’s hurting you. You can step into truth, knowing God loves you. Friend, God loves you and doesn’t want you to miss out on His love, but He does give you a choice: you can either believe what He said, which is the truth, or you can believe your head or the lies that are being told to you. Let’s pray.

Heavenly Father, You are good. Help us to know Your truth. It is for freedom Christ has set us free, so help us to not return to a yoke of slavery. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

That’s all I have for today! Don’t forget these three things: you are loved, salty, and lit! Talk to you soon! 🧡
