The Mind of Christ.
No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us (Romans 8:37).
Hey everyone! It’s your girl Julie, and I’m back with another segment of “Salty & Lit.” In today’s post, we’ll be talking about why mindset matters. Let’s pray.
Heavenly Father, mindset matters. Show us Your truth and align us with Your truth. Amen.
Mindset matters, as I said before, because in Proverbs 23:27, it says, “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” How you think about yourself, how you think about life, and how you think about everything, really, will impact everything in your life.
In my own life, I had a season in my life, where I struggled with mindsets. My thinking was low, and I showed up wrong. I thought everyone was lying, and I didn’t trust myself at all. Crazy right? Yet God, through His love, sent people my way to correct me, love me, and show me the truth. He also used the Holy Spirit to challenge my thoughts and used the Word to correct me. His Word said, “I have the mind of Christ,” (1 Corinthians 2:16), but I wasn’t living it. His Word said that I was a daughter, but I wasn’t living it. It was head knowledge, but it didn’t penetrate my heart for me to live it out.
Friend, it wasn’t easy, but it came through God talking to me about myself for me to learn. The truth was I had the mind of Christ, and I had to live it, yet I had to renew my mind to live it out.
In Romans 12:2, Paul talks about renewing your mind. One translation says, “Let God transform the way you think.” He will align His thoughts to yours, and you just have to trust the process.
God had to change my heart, so that I could be able to receive His Word in my heart. I have the mind of Christ, friend, and you do too.
What does it look like to have the mind of Christ in your own life? It looks like surrendering your thoughts to Christ, being obedient to His call over your life, and surrendering to His Word. Friend, you have the mind of Christ. Start living like it.
Let’s pray.
Heavenly Father, truth matters. You said the truth will set us free, so help us know the truth. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
That’s all I have for today! Don’t forget these three things: you are loved, salty, and lit! Talk to you soon! 🧡
