God, THE FATHER.

Hey y’all! It’s your girl Julie, back with another segment of “Salty & Lit,” and in today’s post, we’re going to talk about God being a girl dad. Let’s pray:

Dear God, You’re my Dad, and I thank You that You are Abba. Help me to know in that way more and more, trusting that You care each second, and to the girl reading the post, I pray they feel the same way too. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

So, a girl dad….

What does that even mean?

A girl dad is someone who cares for his daughter, defends her rights, and makes sure she’s all right. So yeah, when I say God is a girl dad, I mean that… Here’s why.

“God cares for you.”

1 Peter 5:7 states, “casting all your anxieties on him because He cares for you.”

One of the first things you need to know is that God cares for you. He’s actually rooting for you and has your best interests in mind, so when it says, God cares for you, it’s cause He does.

Next, God is a girl dad because He defends his daughters well.

There’s a story in the Bible about Zelophehad, who had daughters and were asking for an inheritance because their father died and had no sons (Numbers 27:1-11). To prevent them from being excluded from receiving land when they were going to go into the Promised Land, they asked Moses, “Why should we be left out?” These daughters were willing to ask, and Moses in turn went to ask God about it, who, in turn, stated that they were right and got land for the family line. God looked out for them, and He is looking out for you, too. He’s a defender, and He’s looking out for you. “He’s a mighty warrior who saves,” according to Zephaniah 3:17, so that means He’s defending your case too, sis.

Lastly, God wants to make sure you’re all right. God knows the number of hairs that’s on your head (Luke 12:6), so that means God cares a lot about you and wants to make sure you’re all right.

You’re His daughter, sis, so treat yourself as that, knowing that He cares for you.

Let’s pray.

Dear God, thank You for reminding us of Your truth, whom the Son sets free is free. Let us walk in Your truth each and every day, knowing You care for us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Don’t forget you are loved, salty, and lit, and don’t forget one more thing:

God is a girl dad!

Talk to you soon! 🧡
