Salty AND Lit.

Hey fam, it’s been a while since we’ve spoken, and I must say that I’ve missed you all dearly. Through my absence, I have been seeking clarity on what this blog should be about. Along the way, I lost sight of the vision and tried downplaying it, in hopes I would generate more content and readers as a result. Thankfully, God sat me down and we worked through it.

So what is the vision? Salty and Lit is a faith-based blog that uses Scripture as its foundation to encourage women of God to live life the way they were called to be: salt and light. With this knowledge, expect more content focused on Scripture and resources to help you in your walk. If I am growing in it, expect me to share. If not, I’ll recommend resources that I think might be helpful. I am not the end-all, be-all, but my desire to see women grow in their faith makes me passionate with the work I do.

So with that, this space will be used to empower women to engage in Scripture by providing resources that allow you to do this independently or communally, as well as learn more about what it means to be a Christian through my own walk.

I’m not saying that I have all the answers because I don’t. However, after years of being involved in ministry, I do have a wealth of knowledge that I want to share with you.

With that being said, welcome to “Becoming Salty and Lit,” a faith based blog for women to grow in their faith through various content like studies, discussions, and blog posts. I hope you are able to pursue the life God has called you to live, which is to be salt and light, or in this case, salty and lit (Matthew 5:13-16).
